What is Nunnelee thinking? He led the fight to kill a bill to that would have restored $37 million to the state's K-12 education budget. Although a majority of state Senators said we had cut too much from our education budget, Nunnelee opposed any relief for our public schools. The very next day, when Nunnelee had a chance to change his mind and support the restoration of education funding, he again voted to support the Governor's cuts to education. I guess educating our kids doesn't make Nunnelee's priority list.
As a result of Nunnelee's efforts, many jobs in schools across Lee and Pontotoc will be lost. We can't go on taking money from schools, from our kids. Fire Nunnelee Now!
